BKFC Philly Philly

Ultimately, I took a minute to write this because I knew using the triller tag would help get it more engagement and doing it closer to the market open would get me the chance at the most clicks possible. But this is not about the stock, this is not about the valuation, or economic performance of the company. This is simply about what I consider the future of combat sports. No one besides the UFC can sell out anything domestically let alone one of the biggest arenas in the country's biggest market, but BKFC managed to sell out Wells Fargo with the biggest name on the card was a 41-year former UFC Lightweight Champ and Philly's own Eddie Alvarez. Don't get me wrong the King of the Underground at one point in his career was worthy of the top of the billet but his best days are far behind him but main events like Josh Emmet and Eddie Alvarez would not be something you expect to light the world on fire, well unless you are talking BKFC. Because BKFC isn't about the flashy n...

Knucklemania 5-Philadelpia Best Bets and more

Today marks a historic day in BKFC history in which they have laid claim to the largest combat sports event in the city of Philadelphia's history with an attendance of 17800 people. South Philly was the birthplace of the BKFC vision according to President David Feldman and was also the place that denied them license to hold events the most based off of the old boxing commissioner but was able to final make it happen due to current boxing commissioner of PA Ed Kunkle. The sport is currently sanctioned in 26 states and continues to grow domestically and internationally. This card is loaded with great action headlined by Philly's own Eddie Alvarez and longtime UFC veteran and fan favorite Jeremey Stephens. It also has a heavyweight championship bout between current BKFC Champ Mick Terrill and longtime UFC Heavyweight contender and undefeated BKFC fighter Ben Rothwell. But due to the nature of the event and the newness of the sport it makes it probably one of the most enticing even...

Jerry "Bozo" Jones and Brian "Bumass" Schottenheimer

Well, he did it, in what couldn't be a more unenthusiastic hire Jerry managed to select the most nothing burger candidate he possible could but who could have expected different. The man is habitual cheap when hiring head coaches and this would not be the first time he promoted a head coach within a failing staff, throwback to Jason Garrett. But the difference between Garret and Schottenheimer is Garrett rejuvenated a team that was on a significant decline, and it was apparent that the aging Wade Phillips had to go. Also, Garrett was a former player in the organization and gave the team a sort of feeling of pride that was missing. But Schottenheimer outside of the name has accomplished little to nothing throughout his career continuously being an underperformer and just a true knack at not developing his younger talent as an OC dating back to his days with the Jets and Rams failing to help develop either Mark Sanchez or Sam Bradford. Under his father's staff in San Diego, he d...

Pro Wrestling Match Review- WrestleMania X8 Hogan vs Rocky

I love football, I mean absolutely love it but one of my favorite things I have ever been able to experience is the joy I have gotten from pro wrestling. The crowd, the pageantry, the artistry has all been something I have fell in love with sense I was a young kid and although in my teen years I backed away from it because I didn't want to seem "less cool" a part of me always knew I'd be back and since I have been 16, I have been hooked once again. Me and my friends used to reenact matches on the trampoline taking dives to that luckily none of our parents saw, and actually no one saw at all, not a camera or nothing but we did it for the love of the game. I enjoyed it so much at one point in my life I thought I was going to be a pro-wrestler, and I should sell out and go all in for it but instead I choose a different path which I am not mad at (probably a lot more financially stable) but my love for it just stays so true.  In this little series instead of a blog about ...

Modern Content and it's Flaws

Taking a step back from sports with this one because ultimately, I am nobody and what I post here will go unseen outside of some Russian pornbot but the modern era of content is just upsetting. It is impossible to compete with streamers, Tik Tokers, podcasters. and already established social media giants because no one actually reads anymore and for good reason. Why would I read an article obviously generated by ChatGPT that is essentially the SparkNotes on whatever subject I could go ask for a summary myself. Most blogs or articles are simply engagement farming looking for clicks so you can sift through ads, so they collect some cash, but the true meaning of writing meaningful content has gone out the window. I remember back when I was in high school and I would go on Bleacher Report and read the top 10s that weren't just clicking through with no substance but rather good feedback, it led me to go back and visit all the great matches before I was born. It introduced me to Mankind ...

Mother Knows Best

Some of the biggest news to come out of the NFL weekend is not about the coach hirings, the championship games, or beef between popular media personalities, but rather a particular statement by one of the more featured athletes' moms this week. When Regina Jackson, mother of Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels, was asked what concerned her the most about Jayden and his elevation to stardom, she simply replied, "Girls." She later doubled down on this stance in a clip, saying Jayden should "thank God he got a mama like me," implying she would not allow such distractions. Miss Jackson's stance is firm, leaving little to no wiggle room. NO GIRLS! Surely, one might think the pro QB would dismiss his mother's advice and do as he pleases like a normal grown man would. However, it appears Jayden has taken her words seriously, as there is not a single public image of him with any woman, ever, except those featuring his mother. Miss Jackson has been seen at Co...

NFL Coach Carousel 25

This year's NFL coaching search has been full of whackyness, with predictable outcomes with odd ways of getting there. The leagues top coordinators have been scooped up for massive deals (Ben Johnson, Aaron Glenn, and Liam Coen), and the New England Patriots have their guy in former Titans coach, former player in New England, and the perennial top candidate Mike Vrabel as their head coach, along with longtime offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels (who sucks). However, with most head coaching vacancies filled, three teams remain: the Raiders, Saints, and Cowboys. All their rosters besides some pieces suck(maybe Cowboys are alright) and each of these organizations carries significant baggage that makes their coaching vacancies, well ass. Issues such as continuity problems in Las Vegas, retardation in New Orleans, and the ever-unique approach of Jerry Jones in Dallas (retardation) leave these franchises in a funky positions. Heres a breakdown. Las Vegas Raiders The Raiders have endured...

Liam Coen Situation

I will preface this by saying that I don't see why any coach would stay as a coordinator when head coach opportunities are available to them. I get not walking into a completely dysfunctional franchise, but the fact of the matter is that the Jags are really not even remotely close to the worst situation to walk into in the league. They have a top 15 QB in T-Law, and although he is grossly overpaid, the market for that position makes no sense. The only way for it to stop is for teams to start letting their QBs walk if they can see with a big contract that they cannot build the proper team around them to win. When CJ Stroud resets the market, Sam Darnold gets about 50 million, and others continue to make numbers that seem to be counterproductive to being great, you will come to understand that Lawrence at 55 million a year is not that crazy. Ultimately, the team has weapons with Tank and Brian Robinson Jr. They lost 10 one-possession games this year, showing they have an ability to c...

Who's the Real NFL MVP?

The NFL MVP finalist have been listed and unlike most years a clear-cut winner is still very undecided by many. This year we were able to see the likes of Ashton Jeanty and Travis Hunter battle it out for the Heisman in a close yet predictable race but as for the NFL we have a vastly different situation. Let's dive into the whacky year and its candidates in the order I believe they should rank. 5. Jared Goff I will be honest he wouldn't have made my top 5 but it just goes to show how this award has become more and more of a QB award rather than an award of a player's true value to a team. Goff had a good regular season but was surrounded by an amazing supporting cast and the playoffs exposed what many of us already knew. The man can't handle pressure and thrives off of have two top 10 RBs in the NFL who alleviate most of the pressure of him. Yes, his numbers were impressive 4600+ passing yard 37 passing TDs and 1 on the ground and only 9 turnovers helping his team achi...

NFL Championship Weekend Best Bets & more

As we approach Championship Weekend in the NFL, the stakes are higher than ever for all four teams. However, I must clarify that I am on none of these teams' payrolls; my allegiance is solely to the good folks who cover the action. Now, in a very responsible manner, I would like everyone to wire all of their money out of their bank accounts to their favorite sportsbook and responsibly get rich on the following plays. This year, sharps are getting destroyed by squares on the lines, but the public is still getting feasted on by Vegas due to parlays, props, and other ridiculous bets that we will surely dump money on as well. So, without further ado, let's dive right in. Philadelphia Eagles (-6) vs Washington Commanders (+225) O/U 47.5 The Commanders and their rookie quarterback enter this week's game in Philly as the hottest team in town. Unfortunately, they are set to be curb-stomped by Saquon Barkley and company. The season series is currently split, with the under hitting i...

The Unfortunate Future of Aaron Glenn

Before we speak on his upcoming demise, we must first speak on his success up to this point. The disrespect he has faced in the hiring process has been nothing short of disgusting. Yes, the offense has been historical, but health has at least been on that side of the ball for the Detroit Lions. Aaron Glenn, the former Houston high school athletic standout, who—if it weren’t for academic ineligibilities—would have been playing football at Purdue University in Indiana, was forced to go to local Navarro College, where he became a junior college All-American. He then transferred to Texas A&M, where he became a Division 1 All-American before entering the draft. Glenn was selected in the first round by the New York Jets, where he played for eight seasons under the great Bill Parcells, being selected twice to the NFL Pro Bowl. To end his tenure in New York after eight years of nothing but high-end production, he was left unprotected by the Jets, leading him to be selected third overall by...
